I have an intranet, and some functionality is getting blocked due to the new security features of IE6 on some new computers we're rolling out.
Is there a way to send out a simple file (like a registry update or something) which can be run as a Power User to modify the list of trusted sites to include the intranet?
TIA,

you would think huh? we do it bt we run Novell so the novell client pulls down the users policy settings so it jsut gets mixed in with that. but I would bet it is a registry setting. the resitricted site are in the resgistry so I would beleive the other would be too. I don't have any so I can find the key for you.

that is the same key as the resitricted sites, hmm I wouldn't think it would be.

Scoutt - just talking to my boss who runs the network here - we run Novell, but we don't have the user policy management software :(
But talking to him, it should be simple enough to deliver a package to update the values in that key - even if they are a power user.
