Well i thought i would finally try out a linux type os :) so i decided to user debian as i thought it would be the easiest to use. Im using Gnome display manager, but i cant get it to initialise properly. the error that i get is

Warning: Process set to nice value 0 instead of -10 as requested

the motherboard i am using is a MS6131-2, ive done a google search on this because i dont know exactly what type of graphics card it has, ive figured out it has some sort of ATI Rage graphics card

anyone got any ideas on this
