jow everybody I started with HTML about 2 weeks ago and now i can make a basic site, i know tables all that ****, frames and so on. Know a little bit of flash. But now is the question: WHAT SHALL I LEARN NEXT?? i'm interested in everything but there so much to start with... CSS, CGI, JAVA,... What is the best to continue with??
Hi psychomossel!
I prefer to larn the easier things first, then slowly proceed to the harder ones. I am currently learning JS, and plan to learn Flash or Java in the future.
It's really upto you to decide. If you like learning from the hard things right now, take up the challenge! :)
Hi,
I would learn to install CGI scripts first. They are very useful and will make your site great.
Good Luck,
Paul

CSS's is also a good place to start. BTW, are you talking about Java or Javascript? They are quite different, you know. Javascript is much easier and simpler than Java.

Hi psychomossel, welcome to the forums! ;)
I started with HTML and am now in the process of learning JavaScript. Definitely learn about CSS. Simple stylesheets are so easy to do and can be very effective.
Good luck with whatever you decide to learn next!

Javascript and CGI - if you know both client and server side progamming you can't go wrong.

You can't learn CGI as this is not a language but you can learn Perl.
