I have been told about a script that will capture a visitors' email address and automatically re-direct it to an autoresponder or listserver address form. This could be used for a page that my customers would go to and the script would enter the info with out touching any buttons. Been looking everywhere on every site and can't find it...

To my knowledge no such script exists, and using one would be neither legal nor ethical. Emails sent using this capture method would be spam - which is against the law.

If you really want your visitors email addresses, you should start a mailing list. Then you can send your newsletters legally. If you're looking to make money from the mailings, join PostMasterDirect. They will rent the lists that your visitors have opted-in to. PostMasterDirect pays very for legimiate names, 100+ CPM. If you have a large site, you will be able to get a listowner account, otherwise you can always join as an affiliate.

Okay,
How about a pop-up screen upon exiting say my homepage? Something that will come up only once- and also lets the visitor know as much. Only one field just for the email address- to keep it simple. Quick and painless, but still something that will slow down my guaranteed visitors in case they just want to get to their Lotto ticket but are still curious about my content.
