Hi, everybody.
I'm Matt, and I am capable of making fantasticly atrocious web pages. The only way to impove, I assure myself, is to try. So I'll just crack my knuckles, take a deep breath, and go to it.
But I have a couple of questions for the fine folk here, and I don't know where they belong...
1) I am hoping to make a web page that allows users to rate a given service from 1 to 10. Between a decent HTML book and the Aracnophilia editor, I think that I'm well on my way. But I am looking for some way to automatically average the entries. Also, I'd like to mention how many people rated the given service. Any ideas?
2) Does anyone know of any browser settings, etc., that help control the proliferation of popup windows? Even Yahoo is in on the game now, with their silly camera advertisement. Oh, and GeoCities, where you have to click the thing twice before you can read the text underneath it. What a waste of time...and on every page. Aagh! But I digress.
Anyway, it's nice to meet you guys in that cyber sort of way.
