Has anyone here who uses Comission Junction noticed that a lot of their advertisers are cancelling their accounts?

I certainly have. Is it just me?

Yeah I think all the CPC ones are as they have to since CJ is closing down their CPC program.

They've been driving me batty! And I keep vascillating - drop them, stick with a few, drop them stick with a few..but lately every day those e-mails telling me another merchant dropped are really getting on my nerves! I do think they're honest and the system is great but I just can't make up my mind if I should stick it out and just push a few in hopes of generating a little extra income or just get out - I go back and forth. Anyone else feeling this way or are you going to tough it out with them?

Well I like Commission Junction. But they are droping alot of accounts. That isn't good either. Soon they will be droping them faster than adding them.

I am about to get a merchant account and sell stuff at commission junction as soon as I get the BIG downpayment fee.

I like them, too - that's why I can't make up my mind what to do. Every single day I get an e-mail saying yet another merchant dropped and I'm down to only about 15 I think it is now - although I had over 60 at one point - had to go through that "I wanna try everything!" stage..lol. ACtually, it did help me determine what types of links my visitors clicked on and didn't so it did serve a purpose.
If I stay I'm only going to stick to a few I'm getting clicks on. But this constant fooling around with links is getting to be a bit of a nuisance. I like their payout system though and have never had any problem with them at all in any other area...

I'm actually in the process of dropping all of my CJ affiliates.

You should check out www.reporting.net

The have the same types of affiliates (category wise anyway).

So far www.reporting.net has had no such problems that I know of. If anything, they're growing. It wasn't that long ago all their advertisers could be listed with graphics on a single page. Now it's broken down to quite a few pages loaded with willing sponsors.

I'm having a hell of a time with them. Support emails go unanswered, money is not getting sent ($300 of it!) and basically they are being a right pain in the arse! Has anyone actually got paid by em recently?

Welp, 2 months along the line and I STILL havn't got a single cent from them! They are really getting me annoyed now! Have they got something against foreigners? Just cos I'm in the UK they dont wanna pay me...lol

Does that direct deposit thing work ok for people in the UK?

I dont know, you should find out with your bank and CJ. I think there is a small charge for international deposits but Im not sure. I know that this might sound weird but you could get them to do a direct deposit on my account and then I could put a credit on your credit or debit card through a processing card I have. There is a $5 charge for this from my processing company.
Good Luck,
Paul

Yeh, they do direct deposit. Sadly though, not to international sites. e.g. me!

Anyways, a check does fine. As long as I get it!

you think it will be good if I sign up with CJ ...

Unless you think you can sell their products then don't. I made very little money with 2,500 hits a day. And now they dont even have CPC anymore.
Good Luck,
Paul

yeh, also they used to have cpm for a very short time before they dumped that.

I use them to sell cartoon merchandise on my cartoon based site. I sell things like dragonball videos, and neon genesis posters.
