i want to make a seacrh engine where it searches my site and people can type what they want to find. how can i do it?

My suggestion would be to sign up at a free service such as hitbox http://www.hitbox.com or whatUseek http://intra.whatUseek.com/ .
They are great services with many options. All that is required on your site is the small search box and you can spider your pages up to once a week and they are spidered withen 24 hours, the search result page can be fully cutsomized to suit your site and you have options to exclude pages from being spidered and more.
