Reseller Programs - How much Tech Stuff Do I Need To Know?

Ok, I have a dedicated server and know how to create virtual servers for different domain names. What else do I need to know? What might a webmaster of a site I'm hosting ask of me?

Many things. Hardware info, connection speed, software, and many other things I can't think of right now. Some questions might be easy and some might be difficult. Try to learn everything you can.

You'll also need to provide them with your primary and secondary DNS info, you'll need upload scripts, or FTP accounts that are secure, and not allow the users to browse up past their own directories. Running a web provider can be a tough job, especially when somebody gets the idea into their head that they want to install a perl script that will explore parts of the server that you want to keep secure.
