What the hell has happened on the snowball thread? I've scrolled through thirty odd pages and found nothing of any intelligible value what-so-ever. Now, I'll admit that the sensibilty and seriousness of the spam box is not a primary requirement at the best of times but at least this place used to be interesting.
C'mon guys - any muppet can post the word Spam repeatedly to a board, or alternate random words with the afforementioned spam. Look :
Muppet Spam!
See, not really very thrilling or that enjoyable to read. PLEASE try and find something interesting to post about - otherwise - whats the point?
I think I'm gonna post this up as a new thread too - just to get my little rant noticed.
(And I just did!)

It may be fun for those with only a 7th grade education but for the rest of us - what was an amusing little aside has become dull and repetative.
At least one person agrees with me...

Well, posting too much repetative stuff can be boring at times.

This will take all my knowledge to work this out....
Te = you
audere = dare/have courage
nu = don't know
possum = to have much power?
musa = science?
sapientum = wise
fixe = fixed
aure = don't know
So I think it means something like this:
You dare and you will have power and wisdom of science fixed in your brain

It is Latin - well spotted Dave.
Unfortunately there is a trait in Latin for many (and I mean MANY) words to be spelt the same but mean completetly other things. A fact true in all languages in fact.
So much so that I have previously asked a deaf person (using sign language) for a bottle of F*@& (the words for F*@& and Pop being the same basic hand movement).
Any way as to my little .sig which has you all a little stumped its :
Te = you - Or sometimes I
audere = dare/have courage - to hear
nu = don't know - means the opposite
possum = to have much power? completely OR at all
musa = science? - There may be
sapientum = wise - hmm, interestingly enough it's Banana
fixe = fixed - CORRECT!
aure = don't know - of hearing / of the ear
Essentially translating to :
I can't hear you , I have a banana in my ear.
Less thrilling than you thought eh? :)

I meant the 'well done' remark.
Latin is a bugger of a language - one which was forced upon me at an early age in school.
I can still remember some of it though.
(It's great for insulting people because 99% of the population haven't got a clue!)

That's true!
Fortunately I am too young to have had it taught to me in school, but it is good being one of the few people that know it.
People seem to think you're really clever!
It's not like if you know Spanish or French, because loads of people do, and it's not that special anymore.
