Flash sliding effect ... how is this!done?

Hello!

http://www.dauphin.com/ has a Flash effect of furnitures moving which slows down with onMouseOver. It's even a link.

How is this accomplished? Any response is appreciated.

think about regular rollovers. You have 1 pic for the 'off', and you change it with the 'over' effect of the mouse.

Same thing with flash, except that you can have full featured animations as your 'off' and 'on' mouse actions.

They have placed a whole animated sequence (movie if you will) as the mouseover .... which is what you see when it slows down. When you mouseout it returns to the original animated sequence.

Though reproducing the exact effect they have would take a while the basic effect would only take a little bit.

hmmmnn, the java is a more basic version of the same. I think you have a lot more flexabilty with the flash (unless your a java programmer).

its not just ONE thing in operation here.... but many. It took some considerable skill, and MANY different things to pull that off. I'd suggest by beginning to learnto master the basics of flash first.
