I been lookin for a while and can't figure out how to do the effect Big Resources uses (this site and Bigresources.com) where you move your mouse over the links and it has a small built-in menu right there with text about the link (its not a pop-up, it's more of a single moving with your mouse link description in a table-style) . anyone know what im talking about? I would appreciate if you could reply and tell me where I could get the script for this or just post it directly in your reply. Again, thanks for your help guys! (if its a link please tell me exactly where to go and what the effect is called)

http://www.bosrup.com/web/overlib
that's the site to get it.
It is called overlib.js and in the js file you can customise it.
You need a div tag
the overlib.js file and drc used below is linking back to the overlib.js file.
------
<div id="overDiv" style="position:absolute; visibility:hide;z-index:1;"></div>
<script language="JavaScript" src="../overlib.js"></script>
Diverse Sites van Kunstenaars.<p>Onder andere fraai Airbrush werk.<br>Poetry en applets.
<p>
<p>
<a href="http://members.tripod.com/photobas/" onMouseOver="drc('artistieke zwart wit foto` s, fraaie Nederlande landschappen', 'BAS HOEBEN'); return true;" onMouseOut="nd(); return true; "> http://members.tripod.com/photobas </a>
---------------
the one that looks more like the one you mentioned is from:
http://www.guistuff.com/gen.shtml?tooltip
it has 2 parts:
1. the title
2. the text
The link above leads to a wizard that makes your 'tooltips'(its called this) easier to customize.
As Peter said, the script is called OverLib, it is featured on A1 JavaScripts here: http://www.a1javascripts.com/dhtml/page_effects/overlib/overlib.html or you can view it at Eric's (the authors) site at the link Peter has given.
Good luck.

How long do they last on NameZero? And can you renew them? (for free of course :))

If you bought them for free with NameZero then you can't renew them for free. If you bought a domain with NameZero then it's yours for a year.

But does the free service last for a year?

Nope. I think that all existing Namezero free acounts have been terminated. Mine has.
I think NameZero still offer free domains:

Yes but then you have to *apply* for a domain, which could take up to 6 to 8 weeks. So you'd be better of paying for one.
