Okay, so guys, here's the problem, I need to make a sort of poll or voting system if u may, on my site... This will be for all the pictures and videos on it, a little button next to it, saying vote, or whatever, maybe a rating or such. Then this vote goes off to the homepage, where it goes on a tabular data or whatever. I already have found out that my provider is uncapable with PHP, so I don't know what to turn to? And also, I am not so good with stuff other than HTML, so I would need help on this, maybe you know any sites for stuff like this?

Thanks a big one to whoever can or even can't help me! THANLS!

P.S. I posted this twice because I didn't know where to post it before, so I posted in the "wrong" forum before.

if you want to store the data you have to use a server-side script like PHP. your only other option is to have all of it mailed to you so you can update it manually but thats tedious.

You posted it correctly the first time. Please don't post more than once. If it's incorrect, a moderator will be glad to move it to the correct forum.

Bitte, aufgeben Sie nicht viele Nachrichten. Wenn es ist nicht richtig, die Belegschaft soll es bewegen. Danke!

Haha, nice German there, but these are a bit strict rules for something that is only a help forum? I mean, it's not like anyone really takes time reading all the rules that apply. But for your information, I'm not german.

Also, are you all sure that there is no other way how to do this, maybe javascript, or flash (if I can link it or not...) so please, reply with full detail, thank you in advance and take care.

Good day to you all!

This is more than just a "help forum" - it is a community where many people have kept returning for years now.
The rules are there to ensure that people enjoy their visits here, and promote a social behaviour amongst the members.
Nearly everyone obeys the very few rules we have here without a problem, and those that don't... well, they don't stay for long.
