Javascript probs

Im using a javascipt menu in frames. The menu opens within the top frame by mouse over. When you try to go to a link it opens it in the top frame or orginal page the menu is on. How can I get the menu links to open in the bottom frame instead of the top? I dont want to break out the page though. Any help appreciated. Thx
