Hello All,

It seems the current "weather" on the Internet has caused a premature termination to our relationship with office.com. As a result, we've had to rush our new design online.

Please help us out by having a look through the forums, and pointing out any problems or bugs here, including layout flaws. Thanks for your help. Expect to receive greater details on the current BR situation if you are subscribed to our email list within the near future.

the new design looks nice, verry nice indeed!

But 1 thing im missing, in the big resources network menu, see up, when you move your mouse over an image, you dont see a description, would that be better?

I was going to say the same thing. It's not clear what all those icons are links for. Other than that, I like it! :D

That's a great suggestion wijbenga, I'll see what I can do about adding it. Thanks for the input.

Thanks Shadowz,

Actually traffic isn't the problem, that's one thing the network as a whole has never been in lack of. The problem was financial. ODC and it's parent Winstar are both in financial turmoil. Both capital markets and ad markets are pretty thin all over the web right now (not sure how closely you're following the markets). Unfortunately in this market, traffic does not directly correlate with money.

Great :D This makes reading the boards a lot easier. Now we don't have to scroll to find the content :)

Who does the great graphics?

Looks good. At some point it might be a thought to make this forum stretchy. Most of them seem to be. But it's not like a big deal or anything. And it's very attractive the way it is now.

The design was created by our own Doni Ronquillo, webmaster of freewebtemplates.com

Looks good guys! Another vote for the mouseovers for the icons.

At least office.com didn't end it because of the snowball thread! :D

looks REALLY NICE!

i like this look better than any another look you'll had before. Nice chrome effect and use of everything.

My vote too for the mousoover icon description.

The new design really is great. And I'm glad to see the back of Office.com, the problems that I've had with this site since the partnership have finally gone.

really like the new look! :) doni sure knows how to roll out a snazzy design :)

i am sorry that the office.com partnership ended but i am sure the big resources network will continue to go from strength to strength.

love the cool little boxes that come up when you hover over the icons. might be worth including text links with the name of each site at the bottom of the page or something?

I really like the new design! It looks really neat and is much easier to read. Plus, you don't have to wade through office.com's ugly design, advertising, and useless features.

When I heard that BIG Resources had partnered with Office.com, I got very upset because of the reasons I stated above (ugly design, ads, etc.)

Nice work!

Welcome to the Forum, Corbb. A fellow "Chicagoian" I see. I actually live in Waukegan. How about yourself?

Looks very nice. The title legend still uses the old office.com desing. The url for it is:

OOPS. That's what happens when you have to change lots of pages - you miss some. Hey, we forgive you, Jason.

Good eyes, hacker. I hadn't even noticed.

Paul I noticed it too! Even some of freewebtempaltes.com's templates 404s end up in the office design
