Hey all, sorry if this is in the wrong Forum...wasn't sure where else to put it. Please move as needed.
One of my favorite musicians is doing a live webcast in a few hours, and I was wondering if anyone knew how (or if it's possible) to record such a thing? I've never even considered it before, but since the show will be while I'm at work, I'm going to miss it and really don't want to. :(
Any help is appreciated. Thanks! :banger:

There is software that will allow you to record what is on your screen.
Camtasia Studio is on that comes to mind:

I think you can download a free trial, but I don't know what its limitations are if any.

I'm just gonna classify it as a web-design software need and throw it in this forum.
Sounds close enough for government work at any rate :P

Oh, and thanks for moving it Putts. I wasn't sure, because it wasn't really in regards to a web-dev tool, and it's not about any specific software, just ANYTHING. haha.
Rdove, thanks again for the Camtasia link. That won't work for me though, since it records EVERYTHING on your computer (against company policy), and I have to be working as it's happening. Too bad, coulda been cool.
I was told iTunes could do it, but turns out that's alot of hot air too. :(

If the webcast is going to be in the Windows Media format then you can use this software to record the stream -http://www.softpedia.com/get/Multimedia/Video/Video-Recording/Windows-Media-Stream-Recorder.shtml
