Does anyone know if or where I can get Microsoft Frontpage for free?

Do you own windows 98? If so, try their windows update, I think they have it as an add-on download. Otherwise, see if you can download a copy of explorer with it packaged in. You won't be able to get frontpage, but I think you can get frontpage express, which isn't bad http://talkboard.123webmaster.com/ubbhtml/smile.gif

I don't understand what your saying, but yes, I have Windows 98. Where do I get it? Do I go to the search and write Microsoft Frontpage?

i don't think you get frontpage express as part of windows 98 (i didn't anyway). however, if you have internet explorer 5 installed (not sure about other versions), frontpage express should already be installed. my copy is located in the folder preograms\accessories\internet tools.
you won't be able to get a copy of frontpage 2000 for free, that's actually quite expensive i think. frontpage express is like a tiny version of that. it has nothing like the capabilities of front page.
in fact, if you have a recent version of Word, you already have something that is fairly similar to frontpage express - Word has a WYSIWYG web page editor that is just like frontpage express from what I can see. Just open Word, go to the File menu, click on New and click on the Web Pages tab. Then either click on Blank Web Page to create a page from scratch, or use the Web Page Wizard instead.
Hope this helps,

You haven;t seen the windows update feature on your windows 98?
Click on your start menu, and look at all of the icons that appear on it. If there is a globe with the windows icon, click it. That will bring you to a place where you can get updates, and free windows software.
If you don't have that feature, try this URL: http://windowsupdate.microsoft.com
Let me know how it goes!
