FTP Error...

I hope this is the right place but I am getting this error when I double click on the folder to enter the main folder of my FTP...

Windows cannot access this folder. Make sure you typed the file name correctly and that you have permission to access the folder.

Details:
The connections with the server was reset.

All my sites that I previously hosted are still up which is what I don't get...

If you can access your files besides FTP, try to do it that way, and tell me what you see.

hmmm im confused on what your sayin...see the url to my hosting is www.tdesigns.gifgraphix.com .. and if i go into that i can view all my files and sites ive made and junk...but....if i justr try to log into my ftp it wont let me even in the first folder of it because i got that error message...so i cant load anything up..

Have you checked your access rights to that folder havent been reset? Check in your securities settings.

hmmm im confused, where are my security settings or w/e? and how can i find if it reset when im in it..

There are usually 2 sets of settings afaik, one in the ftp and one in the windows directory of the server you are trying to access.

Just make sure the settings state that your user name and password has the access rights

i dotn think i can do that...because when i try to get into ftp.tdesigns.gifgraphix.com it gives me the error...

I assume then that you arent hosting the server yourself - the person hosting the ftp would be able to check your access... I only tend to have problems with mine when my IP changes and I forget to tell my host :)
