hey everyone,
yep i'm new to this forum...not exactly a "professional" but web design is a good past-time...anyways the reason i joined was because i just started working part-time as an assistant web designer and i was having some trouble with tables (i HATE tables =D) so if you can help me out PLEASE check my last post under HTML Page Layout....thanks!

Welcome aboard! Although you are new, you'll learn that HTML is rather simple once you learn the different tags and such. You can make Great sites with HTML and some other languages as well! Keep at it and LEARN THAT HTML!! :)

Don't worry about tables..
They can be a pain, but as long as you remember that each opening tag should have a closing tag you will soon get the hang of it.
before you know it, new browsers will have layout capabilities which will make tables obsolete...\

Quite true, indeed. CSS positioning can make tables obselete.
