possible to change date format?

Is it possible to change the format of the date?

I've noticed that the date on these forums is in the format mm-dd-yyyy (month-day-year), i suppose this is the American standard way of representing it.

However in the UK the date is normally in the format dd-mm-yyyy. Which to me makes more sense anyway, it means you start of with the smallest time period and work up to the largest. Although i'm not sure if this is just because i'm used to it!

Does anyone know who runs these forums and who would be responsible for incorporating a data format option into the user contol panel?

No, we cant change the date format!

I too was used to reding the date in the way you read it, but now I read it this way.

I prefer reading the date in your way since it makes more sense when reading it.

I also use DDMMYYYY, but, it is almost the same, so, it's still easy to understand.
