Hi, my name is Annette, I am 44 years old and trying to get my diploma in IT Software Development.

I found this site the other day after spending some 6 hours going through various tutorials trying to find out how to validate data as numeric in Perl CGI for an assignment.

Since then I have managed to get a few of my problems with scripting sorted out. I really like the way most of you guys send people off on a quest to gain their answers (check out this tutorial etc), and if that doesn't work then help is at hand. The best way for a person to learn rather than copy.

Any way I want to say I really am enjoying checking everything out here and the responses on the various fforums. Good work guys.

Annette

That is so sweet, but when one stays up all night then has school the next day it most definately feels old.

On the rare ocassion that I get some sleep....I agree it has to be young.
