load movies or music on web page

I have never done this before...please help.

Is there a way to put a movie like from VHS or a song from the cassette tape on the web? If so how can I do it?

wow.... ok. This takes software on your computer. See the computer needs to take your cassette music, and translate it onto a digital format. You usually can plug into the 'line in' on your pc, and play the music, while recording on your media player. Then you just save the file as a .wav. With video it may be just a bit harder, and will require different software.

Tasa, take a look at the movie trailers at Apple's site (http://www.apple.com/trailers/index.html)...

Notice how long it takes to download a simple film to play. It sure would be great if the internet could handle video and audio as simply as video and cassette tape formats.
