HTML Forum's Graphic Contest #002: HTML Forums Avatar Comp

Ok with a little time on my hands... the details of comp 2.

Competition two will be an avatar contest.

You goal is to create an exciting, vibrant and keeeewl new avatar for the HTML Forums avatar list. The Avatar should be no larger than 80 by 80 pixels, and weigh in no heavier than 20,000 bytes. Animated GIF's are allowed... as long as they fit the previous stipulations.

It should be decent and fit the ideals and morals that comes with the acceptable use of HTML Forums. Other than that you have a free range to design what you want.

*** You may not submit more than 3 entries.
*** Entries may be deleted as the admin and moderators of this site see fit.
*** The closing date for entrants to submit an avatar is the last day of September 2004.

The winner... well other than the immortality he/she achieves by having an official HTML Forums avatar... get three, 3 hour slots of my time in terms of graphic design (that is 3 * 3 hours) from me. Use it as you will, maybe a new template or some other work. Based over 3 weeks. 3 hours a week.

Hi all,

I'm visiting HTF after quite a while, and putts mentioned this as one of the things i missed...

I was wondering if the contest is restricted to original artwork, i noticed a few entries that are just cutouts of pictures... which hardly justifies a contest.

either way i plan to cook up something when i get home :)

Cool guys... Thanks to everyone for taking part. Some nice work and it looks like there will be some hard choices to make in the voting.
