I used Caffepot animator from dullas software for quite awhile, it's basic, but free. I downloaded it from www.softseek.com quite awhile ago but they probley still have it.

hi cb4,
i use gif animator 4.0 from www.coffeecup.com . i think i got it for voting for them for some award, so i don't know if it is still freeware but it is dead easy to use.
