I'm voting for commision junction, they have their faults, but I like them.

Commision junction is a big affiliate, but I prefered not to have one uptill now.

I may join one sometime later this year.

There are pro's and con's to Commission Junction, but overall, I like to use their service the most. One of the main reasons is that they consolidate all of the earnings and they pay you one check from them when you reach a minimum amount. Whereas, on Reporting.net and others, you usually have to reach a minimum for each company you joined and it's more difficult to gain. CJ has a large quantity of companies using them also which give me much opportunities to get companies that my visitors will enjoy. CJ has been the most successful for me. Now, I wish that the ones that I have that use Reporting.net would have been in the other so that my total $$ would be much higher. :(

but dont you find there cpc rate a lil outragious....

1 cent per click?
man thats jus insulting....100 clicks to get 1 dollar....man most sites at most get 15-25 clicks a day....an thats a good day....

maybe if you sell alot of ish through your site, like $3000 in sales per month....and your with a program that gives 25% of each sale....then yea cj is good...
but for the simple webmaster who has surfers jus interested in the content, and not buying...Cj is horrible....
o well....

Yeah, their rates are stingy.

Of course, CPC rates suck everywhere now, the best you can get is like 10 cents a click, and with that you only get to display one company's banner. With CJ you can put a whole bunch of them on a rotator and get the money all in one check.
But, you are right, the rates are horrible.

Yes, CJ.Com had some problems with $0.01 offers which most of the time were not worth it. However some of the $0.01 offers (if you talked to the webmasters) allowed you to pop up the ad and make $0.01 per visitor. This allowed me to about $2000 per month. (Not bad for a $0.01 offer)

Anyway... As of July 1st 2001 Commission Junction will begin openly publishing payment and conversion statistics on ads, advertisers. The primary metric we will publish is EPC ("average earnings per one hundred clicks"). EPC shows an advertiser's ability to convert visitors to commissions and a publisher's potential success in generating commissions.

I think this is a great change, we can now see which offers actually work and are worth our time and web page ad space. Unfortunately, the pay per click offers such as the $0.01 which worked out for me so well in the past will be coming to an end.

PS.
I'm looking for a company which will let me advertise on a pay per click basis... anyone know one now that cj.com has joined clicktrade.com and discontinued their pay per click ads???
