I've been searching for quite a while on the net now for a company willing to offer free .com or .co.uk or .net adresses but with no luck. There used to be quite a few companys offering this service such as domainzero.com etc.. but now they all seem to have vanished off the face of the world(wide web). Whats going on in this world , is no-one willing to give stuff away for nothing? Does any one know of an companys offering free domai names and what are your opinions on this matter?
Please Post Back Replys.
Thanx In Advance.
Chris

Actually this is just free hosting, you still have to pay for the domain name. If you want a professional looking domain name such as a .com or .net you are unfortunately going to have to pay one way or another as far as I know.
http://www.emeisp.com/ gives out free domains...the catch is that they have a popup ad when users leave your site.

www.ilovejesus.com gives you a name free for a year if you rent space with them, and then it's only about $15 a year after that. Sorry

Yep. There is always a catch in one way or another.
