pretty much every budget sub/sat system for pc are extremly bassy and lack midrange.

i do own the logitec z-640 they are around 50 bucks.
its good for games. music is horrid in my opinion..
for music i run a carver 200 watt amp to infinity studio moniters..

If you have a stereo with Audio inputs you should use that. Home stereo speakers can not be beat by any computer speakers. If you do not have a home stereo system you can get a very good one for around $50 and it will not be able to compete with any other computer speaker system as I've said before.
