FTP Problem

I have a problem. I have to write HTML for a dot com website. All I got was a ftp address (ex: 456.256.544). How am I supposed to log on to that address. Please help me out

Welcome to the forums, I will move this to the software board so you will be better results.

First you will need an FTP client such as http://www.smartftp.com . Then you will need to put in the address they gave you in the location bar along with a username and password. The username and password can be given to you by your host if they did not provide you with one.
