I'm looking to learn how to parse XML in PHP, any help on parsing a simple file to start with would be great.

well DA, you finally found the fuzzy guru's only weekness, sub zero temperatures, LOL, sorry had to say it. nah, I haven't gotten into XML yet so all I can say is:

Yeah, it's all a load of functions :D Seriously though, I have but just don't understand it, at least I found something your not good at :D

yup, I can honestly say I have no clue when it comes to XML, but I choose that path not that I don't want to. in time I will.

there is actually a post here that takes about XML parsing and it has a script you can study to see how it woks. it does work great too.

RTFM :P

I think Rydberg knows the most about xml parsing here, since he made sure his new host support it. But he's been away for a while.

I would look around at www.phpfreaks.com
I love their tutorials.

No, that's not the case ;)

I talked to him recently on another board. He was travelling for the past few weeks. I think he'll be back soon.

Back on topic guys, I hate PHPFreaks, I must say most of the tutorial comments I have seen there are commenting on how much it doesn't work.
