Ok here's the question. What would happen if you had a domain and you pointed it at another domain that you knew had a high ranking on a google or hotbot search (with keywords related to your site) and then submitted it? Would that domain achieve similar positioning? If so once it did you could then point it at your own content and recieve those hits. I understand that would be immoral and would be leeching off someone elses hard work in achieving that position and would never do it, I also understand that the rusultant hits would more than likely be short term if it did work because on the next spidering your ranking would drop again, so please don't respond to those aspects of this post. I'm just wondering if anyone has tried it and what the results were or what you think might happen.
