I am starting a web page design company and have some clients that need hosting, e-commerce, and domain names. What companies are good for that and what kind of cost should they expect. Thanks.

Argh!!!!!!!! I didn't realize how many dupes there were here!!! All dupes are being shoved into the SPAM BOX HALL OF SHAME!!!

I apologize for the cross posting. I am new to these forums and was not sure of the response time or the effectiveness of each catogory. I was pleasantly surprised at the efficiency. I would like to let everyone know that this was not a spam attempt and that no harm was meant. I now know the system works and how it works and will no longer cross post. I use www.Netfirms.com.

Access to my sites on their server is lightning fast.

To create a domain .COM name is $70 (2 years @ $35 per).

Once your domain is created you use FTP to upload your files.

The site usage on Netfirms is FREE as long as they can show a banner across the top.

They have a nominal fee if you do not want a banner at the top of the page. With all the banners and pop-ups that others inflict on us, what's one more? The banners they show are small and unobstrusive.

Of web host to NOT use, do not use WebJump. They cannot be contacted, refuse to answer any mail I send them, and they have my first .COM site held captive.

Netfirms.com is reliable and very fast to sign up.

They also have sub-domains also for FREE.
