View Full Version : The Best "FREE" e-money payment system?

Which program do you guys prefer. As far as service and overall price I believe Paypal to be the top choice. But there are several clones out there i.e.. Yahoo, and the one with msn and citibank.

Let me know what you guys think?

CCbill seems to be quite versatile with it's billing schedules. It allows for the choice between reoccurring payments, and one time payments, trial periods, and it seems like you can even start an affiliate program of your own, and pay your affiliates out directly from their sales (I'm looking into this more deeply now).

The only problem i have with ccbill is that it is only setup to handle membership based sites. If you are selling products it is of no use. Instabill.com offers all of this but the problem with them is that thier AVS(address verification Service) is terrible they decline a large % of sales.

re: ccbill - couldn't their one time billing plan work for selling a one time item? Don't know how long ago you used them, but it may have changed since then (unless I'm mistaken about their one time billing option, which I don't think I am).

Yes it will work for just one item, actually you could have up to 5 i believe. But If you want a serious internet store with several different products. Or one price but 20 different items with seperate ID's They can't cut the cheese. Ibill seems to have added a shopping cart service to thier plan but i havent checked it out yet.

I like and use PayPal (Great for eBay!:D). Another one that is gaining is Yahoo's PayDirect.

www.payweb.com is another one, but they do have some nominal fees. Payweb could be good if you are using a medium sized commerce site. If it's a full blown site, ccbill or ibill may be the way to go.
