Okay, here's another riddle for you...
An old man dies, leaving millions to his sons. But there is a catch, the will stipulates that they must race on their horses (they both own a stud farm each), and all the money will go to the owner of the horse that finishes last.
The two sons are disillusioned as they realise that the race will never end, as neither will want to finish.
Until their auntie provides a solution.
What was it?
They finish at the same time?

no - there has to be a winner and a loser. And only one son can inherit the wealth, and it can't be shared afterwards.

That wasn't a very hard riddle. I got it about 10 seconds after reading it. But I am not very smart, so I probably just got lucky. But riddles are fun.:rocker:

Does anyone actually know how to solve this puzzle? Normally i could, but it says you cannot leave a child with the other chiefs without his father there. So how the heck can this be possible??
Three warring chieftains are on one side of the river. Each of them is accompanied by a young son not quite ready for battle yet. All six of them want to cross the river but there is only one boat to shuttle them back and forth. This boat can hold at most two people. All three chieftains and the eldest young son (four people altogether) can operate the boat. How do you scuttle them safely across the river?
By the way, did I forget to mention? Leaving a son unattended by his own chieftain father in the presence of another chieftain in any situation will result in terrible death for the young one. You do not want that to happen, do you?
ok. I put a little thought into it and this is what i think, let me know:
Key:
Chief 1: C1
Boy 1: B1 (can use boat)
Chief 2: C2
Boy 2: B2
Chief 3: C3
Boy 3: B3
C1 & B1 ride to side B
C1 rides back to side A (B1 on side B)
C2 & B2 ride to side B
C2 rides back to side A (B1 & B2 on side B)
C3 & B3 ride to side B
C3 rides back to side A (B1, B2 & B3 on side B)
C1 & C2 ride to side B
B1 (can use boat) & B3 ride back to side A (C1, C2 & B2 on side B)
C3 & B3 ride to side B
C1 rides back to side A (C2, C3, B2, & B3 on side B)
C1 & B1 ride to side B
**complete**
What do you think??
