Hi! I wasn't sure which forum this would go in but...

I was wondering if anyone knew whether I could install a xmb board onto the main directory of a domain? Like... I want to put a board on http://www.damag3d.org (the cpanel adds the board automatically)... but it says I have to have it like... http://www.damag3d.org/forum.

Can anyone help me?

just copy all of the forum files into the main directory...?

you think that would work? I'll try it... I'm not too good with stuff like that though, mostly because the cpanel sets it up by itself.. ya know?

I've never used cpanel before, sorry.

I think if you just open the forum folder, copy all the files, paste them into the main folder, you'll be good to go!

I'll assume your using fantasticrap..er..fantastico :P since you mensioned cpanel. And I've never successfully installed it in the base dir using fantastico.Try just installing xmb manually...it shouldn't be too difficult.

Would this work b/c I figure if it installed it itself, then in the code all links would go to www.site.com/forum/ not www.site.com... And same w/ all the images and everything else... So you would get about a bijillion errors if you tried this...

I'm not sure though, just what I would expect to happen.
