how much should i charge advertisers for banners n such

ok im starting a network for urban sites, one of those one man buisness operations,actcially one kid buisness...lol

but everytthing looks professional tho, nice flash design, nice vocab used by me, good terms blah all that good stuff (homepgae)....
and on the network im signing up my two sites, which both get 200k impressions a month each...i will and am planning to have lots more but for now i have these 2 sites 400k between them, and another site 1k a month (lol)......its brand new...
and all homepages to thse sites are fairly nice....

so how much should i charge...im not sure i will get many advertisers but if i ever do....lol

how much should i charge on a cpm basis?
the increments should be whut difference, when buying in bulk?

i.e.
$1.00 cpm 500k hits
$0.80 cpm 1 million hits

see an increment difference of 20 cents, should i do that?
and i want a banner program rotator or whateva its called that allows real time stats and a log in for advertisers to see there clicks CTR ration, impressions and other important stuff.
(preferbly free but if there none i guess i'll pay)

Are you saying you's like to charge $1 for every 500,000 impressions?

If you are you better change your prices fast. I think you should start off low. Like $7 CPM (cost per 1000 impressions). Or lower perhaps. Meaning every 1000 ads you show. They pay you $7 bucks.

I know many companies that charge well over $15 dollars CPM. I think Sitbrand (an advertising agency) charges $12-$24 cpm.

It's really up to you. But if you are planning $1 per 500,000 impressions. That's your decision :)

no i meant

500 k impressions bought in bulk which will be charged $1 per 1000 hits..
thus making me $500 for those hits...

anyway thanks alot for your advise i appreciate it, i thought cpms highest banner rate was 3 dollars....but now knowing sites charge $24 cpm i will reconsider the rates i had in my mind....

oh yeh, Sites like popuptraffic pay people that sign up only $3 cpm. But they can make anywhere between $5-$20.
