This is my 3rd site, and it still looks..........dull. Every time I make one, I go blank about where to go next. I really wanted a site about cars, but I didn't have enough stuff for that, so I added other things. I am far from done, but I need ideas for content and design. ANYTHING will help.
Thank you

Change the buttons on the side they dont look really good just siting there. Make a nivigation bar or somethng. Also add some pistures when people come to a website they want to see pictures and other good looking stuff. You might want to make the text box a different color too.

Nice layout and excellent header image.
My only thoughts would be that the buttons need a border=0 tag in them and don't display the buttons if they have nothing on them, they just kinda take up space and bandwith.
Maybe add something along side the buttons, something like a metal plate that they all sit in, like a elevator button panel or something. Just an idea...

Thanks!......i still have the blank buttons because im still making pages. Its not really up yet. If i still have blank buttons when im done, i will be sure to take them off.
it is looking a bit plain, your images would look better if they had a rollover image on them
your logo looks good and youve managed to keep a good colour co-ordination around your site
so now i read what the word 'chode' means, what is your site about, i see no description for that?

lol....im still working on that. i havent really picked a specific topic, im thinking mainly about cars and trucks, once i get some good pics. you dont happen to know anybody with an awesome ride do u?
well you could always get the cars from the film 'the fast and the furious' and the sequal '2 fast 2 furious' as some of the cars on there were awesome
also, you could try searching for Max Power and Fast Car (both car magazines specilising in tuned up cars)

i would have already done that, but i wanted to be able to contact the people who own the cars, and get details like mods and horsepower. i didnt want just any souped up cars that were made for movies. I have done that before, and im trying to be more real. just normal joes with sweet cars.
well the people inside max power and fast car have intervies and stats and shows the mods theyve done and things
only thing is you cant interview them yourself but just copy whats already there

Its begining to come along nice mate. Maybe a bit more detail to take the plainess away. If you wish to have you navigation buttons up top, then maybe increase the width of the tables, see what it looks like. Also, i think your type of site will be better using Iframes. Just on in the centre. If you dont know what i mean, basically its a page within a page. So the main stuff stays still and does not move EVER. Such as banner links etc... Then all the content changes in the little page which in side a page. (maybe thats no very well explained) but check out my site (http://www.geocities.com/dengieworld) if you dont know what i mean. But i can see it looking nice and working well with that banner and those links.
Look in to it. Iframes.
Take Care

Yeah i think your main page would look better if u were using iframes, looks good if you get the scroll bar changed so it suits your site.
I like the header image a lot, more text tho..
Chode...fun.

thanks for the tips guys, i dont think i am going to use frames because i dont know anything about them lol. i might make my pages like that when i learn more. i tried making roll overs, but they looked like crap because i only have photo impressions. soon i hope to get photo shop, so i can make better graphics. the header was all the work of my friend Jared, who says it only took him like 5 minutes and wasnt that good.
the images behind the text make the text really hard to read, i suggest you either make them more opaque (see through) or lose them entirely
heres a tutorial (http://forum.weborum.com/index.php?showtopic=315) on how to make JavaScript rollovers ;)
and with no intention to blog i have a tutorial on my site about frames and iframes if you want to look into them ;)

The only problemwith IFrames is that only MSIE can render them correctly. It would serverely cut down on the number of browsers that could comfortably view your site. If anything, just use regular frames, at least more browsers will be able to view your site with less problems.

They must have changed since I last tried them.
I played around with IFrames about a year or two ago and MSIE rendered it fine, but Netscape and Mozilla had problems with it.
If they support it now then great news, but I'd suggest trying it out on multiple browsers to see how it looks anyways...
