Hello,
So yahoo is using inktomi now, correct?
How can i submit my site for free? Also, does anyone know of a good up-to-date all-in-one free submission service? I was using www.submitexpress.com but wasn't sure how effective it was. Any other tips appreciated.
Let me know - thanks!

http://submit.search.yahoo.com/ is the page where you can add your site for free. You will need to sign in to Yahoo! though to add a site.
That is correct Yahoo! owns Inktomi, they have a new service called SiteMatch (which is to replace Inktomi PFI) through Overture, where you pay for inclusion into their database and once that has been done you then have to pay per click on top of that, starting at about 10p/10c. I think that if you paid for inclusion into Ink with a provider then you will get the full years subscription but after you will have to upgrade to the new SiteMatch.
A Yahoo! employee has said that Altavista and Allthweb are to have their own distinctive ranking systems. If you want to hear from the employee himself then head on to www.webmasterworld.com
