MS Office 97 to 2000

I currently have Office 97 on my computer and want to install Office 2000. Do I have to uninstall 97 first or will 2000 just write over 97 when I install?

if its the full version not the upgrade its better to uninstall.

not sure why you would buy the full version if you can get an upgrade for about $100 cheaper...

better to do the full install - upgrades are notorious for being incomplete.
