Very sorry if this is not the correct forum, I did try to find a General Help one.

I am having massive problems with another site hotlinking my images, and using a fair old crack of my bandwidth.

Apart from seeking legal options, or continually changing image names, is there anyway to stop this, files, scripts or anything like that?

Envisage Windows site hosted on a full IIS Virtual Server running on an Envisage Windows Server.

Help please, as this is driving me mad now.

I did, but I dont really grasp how they work to be honest.

Im not very good with coding, other than HTML and ASP, and this is all a bit beyond me.

Sorry.

Heh, I don't know how they work either. But I do know if you add that code to your .htaccess then it will prevent it.

Make it so the image their directly linking to is like 1000x1000 pixels saying "don't steal my images" or something. That'll teach them not to do it again.

No problem :D

I did change the Images to "Stop Stealing My Images". It was going to be a lot stronger but I thought kids might view their site, so thought better of it.

They then went and found the image they wanted (which I had renamed) and this has continued for a while.

Its some foreign Auction site and I have contacted their host so I can take things further if this continues.
