Oracle8i Lite

Hi..

I have designed a web site which involves users filling in a form and then submitting it to the database. The entered data in the form has to be saved in a database. One enter in the form will require the users email address. After saving the data to the database...I want an automatic email sent to the users email address, informing them that the form was submitted successful. I have to use Oracle8i Lite as my database.

I have never done this before..so I need help please. Can anyone explain to me on how to use oracle8i Lite to setup my database and to do the above.

Any web links, or books titles would be appreciated and if anyone could actual help me to set this up.
