I hope someone here can help me. I am basically an idiot when it comes to this HTML stuff (and some other stuff also). WHat I am looking for is an easy to use HTML Editor. Hopefully one that even someone with a two digit IQ (hey I am no Mensa memeber so help me out) could use. If its freeware that would be most excellent as I am cheap also. Thanks eveyone.

I would suggest 1st Page 2000 (www.evrsoft.com).
If you are having trouble with HTML, try the great tutorials at www.htmlgoodies.com
Hope this helps!

NOTE: SEE! There are other "idiots" in the world besides me! :D for the free web editor, if you like the raw code, then http://www.cutehtml.com is a great one! it doesnt spit out the code you type to a different form, and the color swaps work great for finding broken code!
when it comes to gui web dev, 1st page is a great way to go.
it's been too long since i've seen the ocean... it's almsot time for another road trip! anyone wana join in?

chris, may I ask why you think 1st Page is good for GUI Web Dev? And what do you think makes CuteHTML better than it for raw code? (Just curious :))

i didnt say it's better then 1st page! i just had a problem with a beat version of 1stp chewing some code i had entered after saving it. i have not yet tried 2.0 . The reason i like 1stp more for gui is obious.
packing for a road trip

Its the best cept it doesn't come with scripts, so if you need free scripts with your editor then 1st Page 2000 is the best

Does Anarchnophilla support CSS editing? I don't think it does.
