I should have clarified more in the beginning. I am running win98, and hitting mySQL with ASP pages. Thanks for the input though.

So why won't phpMyAdmin work for that? I'm doing nearly the same thing. You can add/remove/modify tables, search....pretty much anything that you can do via command line.
