Contest 2004?

I don't get it I mean what exactly is everyone trying to make a site for? I know its a contest who has the best one then one happens?

Yes, there will be contests this year. We're going to be doing some of it a bit differently, so you'll have to be patient while we iron out a few minor details. Like "who", "what", "where", "when", "why" and "how". ;)

CD, what generally happens is that one of the mods comes up with an idea for a 'client' and the contest is to create a website that matches all the criteria the 'client' sets out. The best entries are chosen by the mods (or all of the entries, depending on how many we get) and then voted on by the members.

The prizes are usually banner space donated by either a member or by Big Resources, depending on the contest.

In the past, we've been having the sites done as images, rather than actual coding. I'll be running at least one of the contests, but I have two tutorials and a few other loose ends that need to be tied up before I can start plotting the idea. *g* And I'll have to get an okay from Jason on it.

One of the other mods may have something already in the works, so just hang on. We'll get them posted eventually.
