Hey dudes,

Im Back!!!! :)

I have a question for you guyz.

I want a searchengine on my intraneet(local webiste for the company i work for), it has to become a searchengine were people can search for and in documents that are in some sort of directory, and it has to become a searchengine were people can search for other people that are in this company.

Example:

Im on the intranet //tvdnlam70/vdi.htm
And I'm looking for a procedure wich tells me were and how i can order a taxi, (i know that the facility management department has got procedures for this, in a *.doc document), i want to be able to click on the search engine, type taxi, press search and find the document wich contains information on how to order a taxi.

Example2:

Still on the intranet, i want the phonenumber and location of 1 off the lawyers here, i type John Doe, press search, and i get names that look like John Doe, wich are clickable, i click on John Doe, and i get a page were his photo is on, his name, telnr, loaction, function, and any other relating info about him.

My question is: Wich search-engine should i make/use use to achieve these things??

By the way, We have a program named Verity, but that searchengine is, at least i think, to advanced for the thing that i want to do with a search-engine.

So what should i use?

Im not really smart in sql and all that, so what im looking for is a simple to use/modify/build search-engine.

Hope someone has some ideas?

Greets..
