innerHTML - Good idea? Bad idea?

i haven been considering using innerHTML to create on the fly pages within one of my pages instead of using an iframe...

my only concern over the use of innerHTML is whether it would not work in some popular browsers out there...

i hear it works in ie and netscrape... are there any "popular" browsers that innerHTML will not work in?
