I carry a variety of affiliate programs on my site, and rotate them on a regular basis to find those that consistently generate checks. http://www.userfriendlyusa.com/
The main method to earning with ANY program is traffic, traffic, and more traffic, which is the hard part. My hits are picking up slowly as the colder weather hits, but there are not enough hits to justify LARGE commission checks. Unlike me, you may want to select a product category and carry ONLY those affiliate programs that relate to that category. My site used to be even worse than it is now, as I condense down and consolidate.
Best money makers for me have been:
Cognigen Networks - long distance and other services.
One And Only Internet Personals - personal ads online.
I get checks from them consistently every month.
The other links are very sporadic, and take a long time to build up commissions to even qualify for a check.
