why doesn't this simple script from A1 (my saviors) work in EI?
I'm dumbfounded! Any ideas?
TIA
<SCRIPT LANGUAGE="JavaScript">
<!-- Begin
if (window.print) {
document.write('<form>Click Here To '
+ '<input type=button name=print value="Print" '
+ 'onClick="javascript:window.print()"> This Page!</form>');
}
// End -->
</script>
It doesnt? does the example work in IE on the example page on A1? (sorry I do not have a printer to test it). when I click it, it produces a prompt saying I need to install a printer(and drivers) before it can print (which is what I expect, but it suggests to me that it should work). here is the url if anyone can test it.

I'm using IE 4.0 . The source code shows up but that's all.
It works great in NS 4.76. Both browsers are reading the same pages. I dunno? I'll try downloading it again and re-edit the pages for want of anything better to do.
Thanx a bunch for the help, this is a great site.
Hey alf,
maybe its time to upgrade that browser :)
the source code shows up? hmmm, sounds a bit funny alright. If you set it up on your site and want it tested, just place a post with your url, I'm sure someone will try it out for you in IE.
