Okay, I was just wondering how much banners that pay per thousand impressions pay.. or was that per million? Thanks!

Hi Modulus,

CPM (Cost Per Thousand) banners pay a wide range. Some of the larger, more targeted tech sites earn over $60 for every 1000 banners. However the majority of the mass reach value oriented banner programs are only currently paying our $0.50 to $1.00 CPM right now, as compared to over $4.00 just a few years ago.

If your click rate is any good, it's not too tough to find $0.12 to $0.20 CPC (Cost Per Click) which might work out better. Of course there's always pop-ups, which through a mass reach agency pay from $3.00 to $5.00 CPP (Cost Per Pop).
