its a book by Douglas Adams - made into a TV series by BBC2 in the early 80's - its a cult classic.

The full name of the series is The Hitch-Hikers Guide to the Galaxy - you should be able to find it in most bookshops and libraries.

1. books are the most magnificent things ever - love 'em to bits.
Great for fire-lighting and when you run out of toilet paper. :D
j/k - I treat my books with a reverence that most people normally hold for holy effigies of Christ.

2. library - some place where they let you borrow books. I don't go there, I prefer to buy my own copy and add to the shelves which are already sagging at the weight of all that pulped carbon and ink I have piled on them.
