Question about E-Commerce Website

Hello.. This is my question, I would like to sell my writings online, such as poetry and short stories for sale. Do you know what steps I should take? also, do you know of any "preferable" templates (there are alot of them ono the boxed art website). I am thinking that first I will download a nice template, and then I would like to have an agreement with either Paypal or some other online credit card system. Does anyone know which systems are preferable? I would like to make these accssible via PDF or some other means (currently they are in Word format). Lots of steps..just want to make sure I'm on the right track. Does anyone know where to start?

The subject of copyright protection has been discussed in the forums quite a bit.

This is not meant to be a lame "go search reply" :D
But seriously, do a forum search and read some of the threads that deal with the subject so you have a pretty good understanding what all is involved with protecting your work.

Adobe has a program that can convert documents into ebooks.
