Ya know what would be cool? If instead of e-mail notices about replies to threads, we could get popUp's if we are still logged in, simply so we don't have to check email and then have to go read and/or delete the message.

Just an idea...maybe it's already possible and I'm just not aware of it, but then again someone will probably whine about the evil word, "popUp". =:O

you can see who replied to your posts, threads in your control panel. the very first page will tell you who has replied to your subscribed threads.

just thinking bout the word *pop-ups* and it makes me cringe, they are annoying enough as they are, but idea is a good one, the only thing would be people with pop-up blockers, they wouldnt be able to get their messages would they

I think hes using the wrong term if I read him correctly.Popup = browser window..I believe he means the same thing as the private message notification "popup" which is really a javascript alert box. In which case javascript disabled would be the problem.
